30 Days Of Gratitude: Pillow Talk (& A Giveaway!)

Day #2

Yesterday I expressed my gratitude for my family.  Today I want to be a little more specific and say just how thankful I am for MY HUSBAND!  I could go on & on about how wonderful he really is, but  you'd probably think I was being too gushy!  Truth is, words won't do him justice anyhow!  So let me just start with yesterday . . .I am thankful that he woke up really early to go to work and is such a great provider for our family.  I am thankful he desires and allows me to stay at home with Kyria.  I am thankful that he gave me a hug & kiss goodbye.  I am thankful he dropped in for lunch, and for a job that gives him that flexibility.  I am thankful that he loves me, and tells me often.  I am thankful he is such a great daddy to Kyria, and wants to play with her as much as possible. I am thankful he brush hogged the field when he got home this evening while I finished up a project.  I am thankful he was more than happy to have hamburgers again for dinner even though we had them for lunch!  I am thankful he said he would watch a movie with me despite the fact I couldn't make up my mind which resulted in 3 different DVDs in and out of the player! I am thankful he volunteered to run get ice cream when I said I was in the mood for something sweet.  I am thankful he wants to talk to me & pray together in our bed just before we go to sleep. I know I don't deserve him, but I am so thankful God has allowed me to be his wife!

Since I am talking about how grateful I am for my husband today, I thought it would be the perfect time to show you this new pillow cover I recently got from Parris Chick. It fits perfectly in our room! I love this verse, and I think it is just perfect for my husband and I!

  10. I am thankful for the family God has blessed me with... My husband, my daughter, my son and my sweet pea (who has already joined our Lord 7 weeks ago today). I am thankful that our family got to hold her (she died during labor at 36 weeks). I am thankful that our Father has held our family through losing our sweet pea.
