Sunday Sweetness: Family Reunion

Yesterday we had our Power's Family Reunion!  It was a beautiful day, and of course it's always fun getting to see everyone again!  With Kyria on the way, it's fun to think about our own growing family - traditions we want to start, missions we want to live by, etc. etc.!  However, this reunion reminded me of how thankful I am for our extended family, and the influence they have been in our lives.  I am convinced that God views family generationally, and I believe that we are blessed today in many ways because of the faith our mothers and fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers have had!  Of course just like your family, ours is not perfect, but a little faith goes a long way!  I pray that the faith of our family continues to grow for a thousand generations!

This is a picture of Grandpa Powers, Skyler's mom, dad, sisters, and nephews!  His youngest sister Dezi could not make it, and was dearly missed!  It was exciting getting a picture with everyone wearing the family crest T-shirts Skyler designed! I had to get a little creative, since my shirt currently doesn't fit! The boys wore a couple other shirts Skyler had made!  So thankful to be part of such a precious family!

"But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands." ~ Exodus 20:6
