DIY Rustic Necklace Hanger

We have this room in our house that runs between our bedroom and the bathroom.  Up until now, this room has been our "changing room".  We have lots of BIG closet space, and shelves.  I actually hung all my clothes on these sweet clothing racks we got from a "Going Out of Business" sale!  In addition to hanging my clothes, I also had all my necklaces hanging up on a shelf meant for hanging pots and pans!  This room has now been transformed into Kyria's downstairs nursery.  It is conveniently right next to our room, and it was the perfect place to have the pack-n-play and rocker!  However, my necklaces had to go . . . but where!?  Our bathroom is very small, and the shelf I was using would not work.  So this is the creative idea we decided on!  An Old Rake!  Perfect!  When I told a friend about the idea, her husband offered to let us have an old rake of his!  So we trimmed it down a bit, hung it up, and WA LA!!!  What do ya think!?  I believe this adds a nice touch to our little country house!

You might have also noticed that I am storing all my watches and bracelets in various sizes of mason jars!  Although it can sometimes be a pain to get the ones on the very bottom,  I generally keep those I use frequently at the top.  It works for me, and I like seeing all the colors! Looks like, right now, I need to do a little organizing with both my necklaces and the bracelets . . . but you get the idea!
