Sunday Sweetness: 10,000 Reasons

Today, there was a movement of the Holy Spirit at our place of fellowship!  Our pastor encouraged us to get in tune with the Lord; to spend less time talking, and more time focusing on Christ! It was wonderful!  One of the songs we sang was 10,000 Reasons!  Wow!  What a powerful song!  Here are the lyrics:

So in the midst of our worship, we focused on Jesus . . . raising up holy hands to our Savior, bowing in reverence to the King of Kings, and to the right of the room many were led to write out their reasons for praising our Lord on a wall dedicated to glorifying Him!  It was powerful, it was wonderful, and we are on our way to 10,000 reasons!  

 

Here are a few reasons I reflected on today . . . of course there are so many more! 

 

*The way He created marriage to be a beautiful picture of His love for the Church, and how my husband shows me this everyday!  PRAISE!

*The blessing of babies, and new life! . . . specifically our little Kyria, but also all the babies that will soon be blessing our fellowship! PRAISE!

*The way God can take the yuck of the world, and turn it into something beautiful!  For example, decay and fertilizer producing a vibrant garden . . . us, dead in our sin, being transformed and given abundant life! PRAISE!
