Weekend Adventures & The Homestead Barn Hop

This weekend was beautiful!  After 115 degree weather this summer, I have officially changed my favorite season to autumn!  I love it!  The beautiful leaves, big bonfires, and cute jackets . . . what's not to love!?  This weekend simply sealed the deal!  Fall is Favorite (but summer is favorite too!) . . . ok if you don't know Brian Reagan you won't get that - sorry . . . A N Y W A Y  .  .  . 

Thursday (Technically not the weekend yet, but it was for Skyler . . . ) - He took off work early, and headed to St. Louis with his Dad and Grandpa!  They got to go to the World Series! Although the Cards lost that game 0-1, it was quite the experience!

 Friday night, Skyler went to a free Seminar called "Field to Freezer" where he learned how to cut, process, and package a deer all by himself.  Although it was tempting . . . I did not attend! HaHa I am, however, excited for him to learn all that fun stuff, and have some deer meat in the freezer! :)

Saturday my parents came down, and we went to Jolly Mills Park for the afternoon!  My lovely momma took some pictures of Skyler and I, and we enjoyed the beautiful weather!  I will post some more pics this week, but here's a good one of my parents, and a couple just for fun:

Sunday we enjoyed time with the Church, and spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing.  Skyler and I went for a bike ride, and of course . . . we "watched" the Cardinals game (ok we are actually watching it right now, so I can't tell you who wins yet)!
